Mr. Bridge Special Event

Thursday May 15 Spike is going to do something special.  There will be premade boards, hand records, and analysis of the problems on a hand out. We will start promptly at 1:30, play 24 boards with no late plays.  Afterwards, Spike will give a lesson on the hardest hands of the set. Spike is also promising some extra snacks.  Come out and give this a try.  This is something new that we have never done before. If you need a partner for this game, call June at 672-3277.

 

ALERT!!

Saturday, May 17, there will be no game because the club will be closed to clean the rug.

 

Saturday Afternoon Out coming May 31

Saturday is changing.  There will be Lunch at 12:30 for $1.  The game will start promptly at 1:00.  There will be some special items on this day. Come on out and give it a try.  The lunch and time change will continue weekly through June.  Let us know how you feel about it. 

 

The Team Game -- Tuesday May 20 1:30

We didn't have a team game in April because so many people were gone, but everyone says they need a team game fix.  So come on out on Tuesday May 20. This is a Club Championship Game so there will be extra points available.  If you need help gathering a team, speak to any director or call June at 672-3277.

 

Friday Night Team Games

May 9 and 23, 7:00 PM.  As always, come as a pair, draw for partners.  Reservations required.

Friday, May 9 1:30

Wednesday May 14 1:30 for both sections, Open and limited. 

 

Monday Confusion

There has been a lot of confusion over exactly what limit each game has so I have changed Monday afternoon to be the same as Tuesday morning.  It is now 0-500 including Life Masters. 

 

Three new directors

The DMBC is proud to annouce that we have three new directors in the club.  They took the course, passed the director's test with flying colors, and are receiving rave reviews from their work.  We are just delighted to have them join the staff of the DMBC.  Please welcome Matie Ellery, Judy McCall, and Bob Renuart
